Founded in the early 1990s by a group of music enthusiasts with an idea to build a recording studio integrating the latest technologies of the emerging internet to market, stream and share productions.  Sugarfunk quickly gained a reputation for delivering high-quality records and production for its clients.

In the late 1990s, Sugarfunk believed there was potential in the World Wide Web to transform other industries and sectors and began to apply its expertise to develop some of the first solutions for online betting, electronic trading and real-time connectivity.  Sugarfunk helped its clients to leverage the power of the internet to reach new markets, increase efficiency and enhance customer experience.

Since 2000, Sugarfunk continued to innovate and expand its portfolio of services offering further solutions for real-time electronic trading, mobile integration, cloud computing, data analytics and helping to build the first all digital retail bank in The Gulf region.  Sugarfunk diversified its client base into finance, automative, telecoms, manufacturing as well as oil and gas to fulfil its mission of enabling business growth by optimising operations, improving performance to increase competitiveness and stay funky!
